Inside Sales Representative - South Africa
Works persistently to gain new accounts and/or identify opportunities in account territory. Responsible for a high number of less sophisticated accounts, or a fewer number in more sophisticated accounts.

Responsibilities:
- Occasional involvement in outside sales lead with Inside Sales support.
- If account/acquisition focused, individual responsible for:
- Low-to-average revenue spend and/or account complexity within assigned business.
- Limited strategic value within assigned business.
- Intermediate level sales representative, complete understanding of segment, product/service offerings and client set.
- Effectively articulates the value proposition associated with Dell’s products and services.
- Recommends business solutions considering customer needs and Dell interests.
- Builds relationships with customers based on knowledge of Dell’s technology, products, services.
- Stays abreast of current industry trends and how Dell’s customers are being impacted to help solve specific market challenges in targeted industries.
- Leverages cross-functional resources to achieve results/meet customer needs.
- Effectively prioritizes multiple demands while ensuring customer needs are met.
- Makes decision based on an appropriate amount of information/data analysis.
- Low to medium complexity sales, including limited sales of servers, networking and storage in addition to PCs and packaged software.

Required Skills:
- 4-6 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Knowledge of applicable Dell technology, products, and services and is able to identify how these products and services align to customer needs.

- Prospects – Ability to create/execute an action plan to make unsolicited contact with targeted people to capture interest for further discussion.
- Sells Competitively – Ability to select and execute effective sales strategies and tactics in a differentiated manner to win the business.

Accounting Advisor Job Vacancy at Dell South Africa

Job Title:Accounting Advisor Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa
We are recruiting for an experienced finance professional to support Dell’s accounting and compliance in South Africa.

The successful candidate will be a part of the small Dell finance community in South Africa, however the role reports to the to a senior accounting manager based in Europe and works closely with the centralized accounting functions in the UK and Bratislava to ensure compliance with local accounting and related requirements.

As such we are looking for a strong individual with the experience, ability and maturity to work independently. Formal accounting training or qualifications is desirable, but more important is evidence of broad finance experience in South Africa.

The requirements of the role will be varied, but will mainly cover:
· Providing a local accounting point of contact to internal and external parties
· Pro-actively supporting internal accounting throughout the month, but also during the month end close
· Supporting our relationship with key vendors (e.g. ‘Big 4’ accounting firms, or import brokers) and with local authorities (e.g. SARS or SARB)
· Ad hoc projects and initiatives
