Description

FINCA MALAWI is looking for a Marketing Manager (MM) responsible for oversight and development of the Marketing Department. S/he is responsible for planning, development, and implementation of FINCA MALAWI marketing strategy, in close collaboration with the Management Board, and the subsidiary’s marketing workgroup. The Marketing Manager activities are expected to result in improving FINCA MALAWI brand awareness and improving FINCA MALAWI’s outreach, in line with FINCA MALAWI’s strategic objectives. His/her main activities are:

Marketing Research and Strategy (30%),
Marketing Communication (25%),
Customer Relationship Management (20%),
Institutional Development of FINCA MALAWI (20%)
Support in other areas (5%).

Ideal profile:

University Degree in marketing or other related field,
At least 5 years of marketing experience in the private service sector and/or microfinance/finance sector,
Fluency in English,
Excellent written and verbal communications skills, including public speaking ability,
Excellent sales skills, negotiation skills, and presentation skills,
Excellent analytical skills and organizational skills,
Excellent Computer literacy,
Knowledge of systems and tools, including statistical software, for collecting and analyzing market information is preferred,
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines,
Availability domestic travel (up to 30%).
