Job Title: Supervisor Metering Maintenance
Responsibilities:
Key Challenges
• Good relationship with third parties partners and Government authority.
• The number/quantity of Class 2-4 meter are large,hence it is very important to be able to prioritise the work according to meters criticallity.
• Close liaising with Operation North & South team is a must to ensure all plans are executed properly at the production facilities.
Principal Accountabilities
Provide Technical Support & Direction
• Provide technical advice & support to the Maintenance Execution team that resides within the Operations North & South in solving faults arising on meter equipment as per the MIE process.
• Establish & maintain Shell Gabon Metering Inventory List (Class 1-4) to ensure the list is current & updated.
• Create SAP functional location for all meter & establish the maintenance plan as appropriate.
• Ensure that critical spare parts are available for all critical meters.
• Ensure that follow up actions from internal audits are documented and that remedial actions are taken within the agreed timescales.
• Organise and lead specialist vendor visits (as necessary) and ensure that recommendations from vendors are followed up in order to keep meter healthy and compliant to standards.
• Execute performance reviews of all operated facilities metering equipment,documenting status and providing recommendations to promote improvement
• Contribute towards Shell Gabon WRM Improvement project.
• Perform audits of Partners Fields (Echira /Atora / Coucal),documenting status and providing recommendations to promote improvement and follow up on corrective completion.
• Organise certification of test equipment.
• Provide operational & maintenance input to new metering installation project (ENG).
• Ensure that all calibration procedures are in place.
• Focal point for all metering related issues and Quality Measuring Instruments
• Liaise closely with Hydrocarbon Accounting team (OMP/1) to provide technical inputs about production amendment data records.
• Manage maintenance and verification contracts
• Represent Shell at calibrations,FAT,SAT,and commissioning
Requirements:
Hold a minimum of a National Certificate or diploma in Engineering (or equivalent)
Have a minimum of 5 years direct experience in metering, in addition to 5 years general experience in instrumentation and control
Knowledge of current measurement standards including international standards.
Analytical skills and fault finding Skills
A working knowledge of SAP
A good Team player
Good communication skills
