About the Division



The Corporate Finance practice at Deloitte has extensive experience working with corporate and private equity clients supporting both buy side and sell side strategies. We have been involved in a large number of complex transactions across various industries. The South African team is staffed by skilled financial professionals and can draw on the extensive resource base of the firm for industry expertise and experience as well as any financial, tax, legal, HR, IT strategy or consulting issues. We regularly access the Deloitte global centres of excellence to ensure that we remain in the forefront of developments in the due diligence field.

We are looking for the person who is best able to fulfill the following job requirements



* Acquisition and Sale Fairness Opinions
* Investments
* Capital Raising
* ESOP
* Management Buyouts
* Inter-Shareholder Transactions
* Restructuring
* Purchase Price Allocation (IFRS 3)
* Valuations for Goodwill Impairment (IAS 36)





About You



We are looking for someone who has the following qualifications



* B.Com/MBA/CA (SA)



You would need to have the following Experience and Technical Competencies



* Three to five year's Valuation experience in a "Big 4" auditing firm or Merchant Bank
* Experience in indicative/independent valuations essential
* Experience in IFRS and purchase price allocation valuations advantageous
* Experience managing teams
* Experience interacting with clients at senior level
* Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
